Oba of Benin, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II on Thursday told President Muhammadu Buhari the need for the role of traditional rulers to be reflected in the constitution.
He stated this in Abuja during his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.

While speaking the revered Benin Monarch he said that despite the stabilising and developmental role of traditional rulers in the country, it is sad that their role is yet to be reflected in the constitution.
He stated: "The traditional institution will encourage Nigerians to go on with one Nigeria. We intend to continue to use culture to foster Nigeria image both in Nigeria and in the comity of nations."
